ኮቪድ ከያዘኝ ምን ማድረግ አለብኝ/What to do when you catch covid

Benyam

The following is my opinion and suggestions especially for Ethiopians in Ethiopia who are in the midst of a Pandemic. Please consult with your Primary care provider before implementing any of the following suggestions. If you have any questions please email me or contact me on Facebook and I will try to help if I can. The links can be found on the home page under “about me”. I am hoping we can extend the Good Samaritan extension here on the internet in the future.

1. Dont stay indoors with ‘other people’ 2. If you stay in doors with ‘other people’ make, sure there are at-least two opposing windows open wide or buy a ventilation system to clean the trapped air 3. Use N95/kn95 masks or other brands that have better filtration (my opinion based on the size of Covid/Sars virus 4. If you get covid: use Tylenol/paracetamol for fever/headache/body ache, warm fluids, rest, hot soups. Open outside windows to clean the air w/o risking others. Only use antibiotics if you start producing yellow mucous.

5. Vaccinate. especially if you have any risks. Pfizer might have better outcomes and the name sounds cool and sounds like father. 6. The chance to revaccinate in the fall might be possible for the new variants. Again, opinion. ‘Other people’: people that you dont know if they have high or low exposure and/or immunity level For more information www.cdc.gov and www.who.int https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/clinical-guidance-management-patients.html
